- Adding/Editing/Deleting a Blacklist entry
A Blacklist is a list of specific email addresses or domains considered to be associated with spam. Depending on your configuration, messages from these email addresses are either automatically deleted or re-directed into a spam folder. New addresses to block appear everyday, which can make a Blacklist difficult to maintain. To more effectively filter spam, use your blacklist in conjunction with a Whitelist. A Whitelist is a list of email addresses or domains which you have designated as legitimate email contacts. Messages from these contacts will not be automatically blocked, and will be successfully delivered to your inbox. For more information on Whitelists, click here.

The time limit is the maximum time in seconds that the Microsoft Exchange Server needs for scanning an individual file. If scanning is not finished within this time limit, Microsoft Exchange Server declines access to the message. Scanning is not interrupted during this interval and after it is finished, every other attempt to access the file will be successful.
